Goals
- Improve collaboration for stroke care, working toward the prevention, identification, and management of acute and chronic stroke and post-stroke rehabilitation.
- Enhance Mauritian stroke survivors’ quality of life and re-integration into the community.
- Enhance collaborative care between healthcare partners, clinicians and allied health colleagues.
- Enhance delivery of stroke care in Mauritius.
- Provide an interactive platform for questions and answers to instil change, seek opportunities, and overcome barriers in enhancing delivery of stroke care in Mauritius.
Audience/Participants
- Physicians (GP, Specialists (i.e. Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, Internal Medicine, Sports Medicine Physicians, Paramedics, and interested Physicians) and Allied Health Colleagues (Nurses, OT, PT, Orthotist, Psychologist, Speech Language Therapist, Psycho-Motor Therapist) working in stroke care in both public and private settings in Mauritius.
